I’m back! And yes I know, you didn’t even realise that I was gone, but you can at least pretend that you missed me.
My first thought was to give it 5 stars, but after reflection, I have ultimately decided to knock it down to 3 stars due to certain elements.
Don’t ask me how I read this many books, because I have no idea.
While the movie was definitely your typical YA teen movie, all around it was a decent film.
It didn’t have to be the best thing I’ve ever seen, it just had to be okay. But was it ok? No, it was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen in my life.
I walked from the cinema straight to the bookshop and bought the book. I then proceeded to hate the book.
There’s nothing better than waking up early in the morning and heading to the Lifeline Bookfest for some great books at even greater prices. Well, I could do without the early morning wake up, but it’s definitely worth it.
People Like Us did not disappoint, it instantly hooked me in with its Pretty Little Liars esque story and kept me intrigued the entire time.
I wasn’t going to write this review until I’d finished the book, but I’m only on chapter 11 and I already have so much to say!
