For two years, six months, fourteen days, eleven hours and sixteen minutes I have been Jane Doe and a prisoner in a government facility. I don’t know what they want, but I do know that one wrong word could destroy the world.
I’ve been waiting for this book all year (I mean its only April but you know what I mean). That book that grips me, shakes me and throws me back on the ground with a heart-wrenching bang. That book that instantly lands a spot in one of my favourites of all time. I’m filled with a lot of emotions at the moment if you can’t tell.
I love The Medoran Chronicles by Lynette so I wasn’t sure if this book would be able to match my love, but omg it did. Overall Whisper isn’t a completely unique story for a YA novel, but Lynette twisted it into her own and made it better than ever. Every cliché was made into a beautiful original piece that makes you fall in love and feel. I read this book in a day, and well it was a rollercoaster of a day. I wanted to scream, cry, and most importantly I want more! But life isn’t fair so I’m going to have to wait (cries in the corner).
I can’t say much more without spoiling everything, so please go pick up Whisper when it comes out on May 1st, you won’t regret it.
