The Joy of Christmas Book Tag

I’m not sure how many review posts will be up this month as it is now drawing nearer to Christmas and new years. Which means it’s time for favourite lists and hopefully some Christmas themed fun. So to kick us off, here is The Joy of Christmas book tag!

1. Anticipation: The Christmas excitement is real, what book release are you most anticipating?

It feels like I’ve been waiting a hundred years for the last Throne of Glass book. With the year set back, and the last book ending on a terrible note, my anticipation has become insanely high. As much as I’m not ready to leave this world, I can’t wait to discover what’s coming next.

2. Christmas songs and carols: What book or author can you not help but sing its praises?

I know it’s bad to have two Sarah J. Maas books on this tag, but I can’t help it, okay! I will never stop being over A Court of Mist and Fury, I love that book with every inch of my withering heart and how could I not, I mean, it’s got Rhysand.

3. Gingerbread houses: What book or series has wonderful world building?

The Harry Potter universe seems to span on forever. And as we delve into the other countries and past of this magical world we continue to discover more and more. Part of me knows it can’t last forever, but I never want to stop learning.

4. A Christmas carol: Favourite classic or one that you want to read?

For those of you who don’t know me or have never stepped foot into my apartment. You wouldn’t know about my love (cough, obsession) with Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. I’ve always loved the stranger things in life and Alice has it all wrapped into a children’s tale. From jewellery to a tattoo, It surrounds my life.

5. Christmas sweets: What book would you love to receive for Christmas?

noah s

Well really any book is welcome, but The Becoming of Noah Shaw is high on my anticipation list.

6. Candles in the window: What book gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling?

percy j

Any book from the Percy Jackson or Heroes of Olympus series. All of Rick Riordan’s books are a whirl of fun character’s and plots. But these two are my particular favourites, they’re just, I don’t know, there Percy Jackson!

7. Christmas tree decorations: What are some of your favourite book covers?

The Medoran Chronicles series by Lynette Noni has some of the most gorgeous covers I have ever seen! Literally, every book cover gets better and better, and so do the books!

And that completes The Joy of Christmas book tag if you do this tag link it down below!
